The Defense Logistics Agency is planning to solicit 2 to 8 F108 combustion cases, part number 9529M99G09, NSN 2840-01-262-0495PN. The component provides the structural interface, transmits engine axial load, and provides the gas-flow path between the compressor and low-pressure turbine. Delivery is requested by December 31, 2028, to shipping destination SW3211. The planned acquisition is for supplies under FAR Part 12 commercial-item procedures. The Government expects to compete the requirement among a limited number of sources under FAR 6.302; CFMI, identified by CAGE code 58828, is currently the only known source able to satisfy the requirements. Electronic procedures will be used, and the letter request for proposal is expected to be available on the solicitation release date.
