Description
The United States Coast Guard, Aviation Logistics Center, intends to award a sole-source contract modification for 44 additional T700-401D engines, NSN 2840-01-HS3-6034, part number 5207T00G01. The engines are required for MH-60T and MH-60R/CG aircraft programs and must be supplied by General Electric Company, the original equipment manufacturer and only approved source. The requirement includes the purchase of the engines and associated shipping/storage containers. The proposed action modifies Contract 70Z03824DJ0000013 and does not extend the remaining periods of performance. Delivery is requested 18 months after receipt of order, with early shipments encouraged at no additional cost. The notice is not a request for competitive proposals, but responsible sources may submit information for consideration in the sole-source determination.
