Description
The United States Air Force is seeking information from potential sources capable of newly manufacturing and supplying 61 F110 augmentor nozzles, part number 9538M95G05, NSN 2840013571941PR. The requirement includes component-part procurement or manufacture, inspection, testing, preservation and packaging, and shipping. Potential sources may also need to provide supply-chain management, logistics planning, production forecasting, long-lead-time parts procurement, diminishing-manufacturing-source and material-shortage support, and shipment of serviceable assets. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research, not a solicitation or request for proposal, and no contract award will be made based on the notice. The requirement is a new spares buy with no repair requirement. Potential sources seeking qualification may be required to complete a Source Approval Request package; the notice states that the actual package must be submitted electronically through DoD SAFE. Respondents must provide business, ownership, size-status, CAGE code, UEI, and capability information.
