Description
The United States Air Force is seeking capable sources for a new spares buy of 187 compressor spacers for TF33 aircraft engines, part number 413918P20 and NSN 2840-01-305-5307. The requirement includes new manufacture, component-part procurement or manufacture, inspection, testing, preservation and packaging, and shipping. Potential sources may also support supply-chain management, logistics planning, production forecasting, long-lead-time procurement, diminishing manufacturing-source issues, and shipment of serviceable assets. This is a Sources Sought notice for market research, not a solicitation or commitment to award a contract. The requirement has no repair component; sources may need to address source-approval or manufacturing-qualification requirements and any associated nonrecurring engineering costs. The government may use responses to determine whether a future procurement will be competitive or set aside for small business.
