Description
Montgomery County Board of Education is soliciting sealed bids for the Children's Center Re-Roofing Project. The work consists of removing the existing roof and replacing it with a new PVC roofing membrane. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms furnished by the Architect or copies thereof. A cashier's check or bid bond payable to Montgomery County Board of Education, in an amount of at least 5% of the bid but not more than $10,000, must accompany the proposal. Performance and payment bonds and evidence of insurance will be required at contract signing. Bidders exceeding the applicable Alabama licensing threshold must hold the required general contractor license and display the current license number on the sealed envelope.
