Description
The State of Alabama is requesting a contractor to rebuild a Patterson pump onsite at the Archives & History building. The work includes providing drive time; loosening and sliding back the motor; removing, disassembling, inspecting, and cleaning the pump; installing new bearings, seal, sleeve, and gasket; reassembling and reinstalling the pump; returning the motor to position; and performing laser alignment. The contractor must be licensed in the applicable jurisdiction, demonstrate experience with large-scale commercial or government projects, comply with OSHA and facility safety requirements, and provide the required insurance. Subcontracting is strictly prohibited. Work must be completed within 45 consecutive days and performed during scheduled business hours, Monday through Thursday, from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A required site visit is scheduled at the facility loading dock on October 1, 2026.
