Description
Shared Services Canada, for the Department of National Defence, requires a 60-month lease of one production digital press for a graphic-arts production environment. The equipment must support at least 70 pages per minute in colour and monochrome, 2,400 × 2,400 dpi resolution, automatic duplex printing on media up to 360 g/m², specialty synthetic, tear-resistant, and waterproof media, single-pass duplex scanning, Adobe and APPE/PDF workflows, colour management, network and Apple compatibility, media identification, booklet finishing with stapling, saddle-stitching and folding, specified paper-feed capacities, dedicated power filters, and a full set of high-yield cyan, magenta, yellow, and black toner cartridges. The requirement includes delivery, professional on-site installation, calibration and functional verification, French-language user training at installation or immediately afterward, on-site preventive and remedial maintenance, consumables under a cost-per-copy arrangement, and service-level commitments. The contractor must provide technical brochures and supporting documentation, complete the technical compliance substantiation form, submit the required bid, integrity, OEM certification, and supply-chain-security forms, and provide financial pricing for the 60-month lease and estimated monochrome and colour usage. The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for award.
