Description
The contractor must furnish and install electric motor-operated exterior coiling counter doors, electric motor-operated insulated-slat interior overhead coiling doors, and electric motor-operated insulated glass-panel exterior sectional doors. The project includes associated hardware, accessories, sweeps, fire ratings, mounting brackets, glazing, factory finishes, storage and protection of materials, complete installation, startup, and training for the Owner’s maintenance personnel. The contractor must coordinate access-control, security, electrical, fire-alarm, and low-voltage interfaces and provide required project documentation and as-built information. Prime contractors and applicable mechanical, electrical, and plumbing subcontractors must be prequalified under California Public Contract Code section 20111.6. Prequalification questionnaires and financial statements must be submitted on Owner-provided forms, and bidders must be announced as prequalified before the sealed-bid opening. This is a prevailing-wage public-works contract with a stated estimated bid value of $109,003.64, a 490-calendar-day project duration, bid security, payment and performance bonds, insurance, and a 3% Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise participation goal.
