Description
The Department of National Defence requires a contractor to measure all 150 existing door frames at Building 599, verify dimensions and hardware-preparation locations, and provide a complete measurement record before fabrication. The contractor must then mill, machine, cut, drill, and deliver 150 new commercial-grade metal door slabs—75 left-hand and 75 right-hand—compatible with the existing frames and hardware locations. Each door must be new, have a minimum 45-minute fire-protection rating with appropriate manufacturer marking, and be suitable for installation by others without additional preparation. The scope includes delivery, manufacturer documentation, warranty information, and environmentally preferable packaging that is reusable, returnable, or recyclable. Installation, removal of existing doors, painting, frame modifications, and electrical work are excluded. Offers must include technical and financial sections, the Offer Submission Form, the Offeror Declaration Form, firm pricing for all 150 doors, and supporting documentation or a written narrative addressing the mandatory commercial-grade and fire-rating criteria.
