Description
The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Corrections requires multiple tools and a shadow tool box for Correctional Industries CI Huntingdon. The shadow tool box must have foam-like drawer inserts with tool-specific cutouts, contrasting colors for tool visibility, and secure but accessible storage. Hand tools must carry a lifetime warranty, excluding air tools, torque wrenches, and listed consumables. The procurement includes a 728-piece red micro toolkit assembly, engraving each tool with “CI-DS,” and additional automotive and mechanical tools including torque and impact wrenches, extractor and bit sets, presses, air tools, test leads, circuit testers, cooling-system tools, filter wrenches, tire-inflation equipment, and related accessories. Products must meet Department of Corrections security requirements, with delivery generally required within two to three weeks and delivery appointments required. Award is expected to be made to the lowest responsible bidder based on the total bid, although item-by-item award may be permitted.
