Description
The Redevelopment Authority of Somerset County, on behalf of the Borough of Garrett, is soliciting bids for construction of approximately 1,280 linear feet of new sidewalk and curbing along Center Street, from Jackson Street to Monroe Street, in Garrett, Pennsylvania. The project is federally funded and is subject to Davis-Bacon and Related Acts, applicable federal and state equal-employment requirements, apprenticeship and trainee participation requirements, and MBE/WBE and Section 3 participation and documentation requirements. Each bid must include bid security equal to 10% of the total bid in the form of an acceptable bid bond, certified check, bank draft, or negotiable U.S. Government bond. Bidders must purchase the contract documents and plans to be eligible to bid. The owner may hold bids for up to 60 days after opening while reviewing bids and bidder qualifications.
