Description
Derry Township is soliciting bids for stormwater improvements in the Village of Bradenville. The work includes approximately 1,850 linear feet of new storm sewer piping ranging from 12 to 36 inches, new inlets, and storm manholes. The new system will replace the existing stormwater system and add collection access points along Alexandra Street (T-930) and intersecting streets within the project area. After installing the storm sewer, the awarded contractor must mill and repave Alexandra Street (T-930) to the limits shown on the contract drawings. The project is subject to Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements and other stated public-works, nondiscrimination, contractor-responsibility, environmental, accessibility, and labor-compliance provisions. Bids require a certified check or bidder's bond equal to 10% of the proposal. The project is partially financed by a grant from the Commonwealth Financing Agency.
