Description
The Pennsylvania Game Commission's Bureau of Law Enforcement is soliciting three vendors for comprehensive upfitting services for approximately 32 law-enforcement SUVs and trucks. The work includes installing agency-provided radio, telecommunications, lighting, siren, computer, antenna, prisoner-partition, gun-rack, console, bumper-guard, and related equipment; procuring specified ancillary materials and custom equipment boxes; performing design, field measurement, installation, repair, removal, testing, and tear-down services; and securely storing agency vehicles and components. Retired fleet vehicles must also be prepared for auction. Vendors must be capable of producing at least two vehicles per week, have experience building law-enforcement patrol vehicles, and provide photographs of previously completed projects. The awarded suppliers will perform the work at their own facilities, which must be within 50 miles of the Pennsylvania Game Commission's Southwest Regional Office in Bolivar. Estimated quantities are demand-dependent, with approximately 50 to 65 upfits anticipated annually. The initial period runs from the effective purchase order through June 30, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewals by mutual agreement. Bids must be submitted electronically through the Commonwealth's SRM system and include pricing for upfits, vendor-procured materials, setup fees, labor, overtime, travel, and shipping.
