Description
Spring Independent School District is soliciting competitive sealed proposals for a turnkey network switch refresh at eligible school sites. The scope includes approximately 250 48-port network switches, power supplies, DAC cables, network modules, transceivers, cloud-management software licenses, and five years of support. The District identifies Juniper EX4400-48MP switches and Juniper Mist AI Cloud Services as the preferred solution, while allowing equivalent equipment that meets or exceeds the stated specifications with supporting manufacturer documentation. The awarded vendor must provide planning, staging, installation, configuration, testing, documentation, project management, quality control, removal of existing equipment, cabling as needed, labeling and asset-tracking spreadsheets, training for at least four District engineers, and ongoing monitoring and analytics. Proposed solutions must support cloud-based management, zero-touch provisioning, automation, AI-driven monitoring, alerting, reporting, security controls, and enterprise switching features. Vendors must be authorized Juniper partners or partners of an equivalent manufacturer, provide complete pricing and a detailed quote, submit the required W-9, and provide references for similar work performed within the past three years. The estimated contract value exceeds $1,000,000, depending on District needs.
