Description
Campbell County is offering the approximately 5,289-acre Spaeth Ranch property at 317 Union Chapel Road in Gillette, Wyoming, for purchase and development. The minimum purchase price is $10,000,000. The property is sold as-is, with title transferred by warranty deed; the successful purchaser is responsible for closing costs, optional title insurance, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Proposals must include the bidder's contact information, proposed purchase amount, and a brief economic development plan addressing the property's development timeline. Preference will be given to proposals focused on economic development and to proposals purchasing the entire ranch rather than a portion. The county may require a recorded deed restriction prohibiting use as an independent spent fuel storage installation or geologic repository, and may reserve a limited repurchase option if the proposed development is not completed.
