Description
Victoria Independent School District is soliciting electrical services on an hourly-rate basis for journeyman electricians and electrician helpers or apprentices. The contractor must provide its own tools, equipment, vehicles, transportation, and a supervising Master Electrician license; prepare labor-and-material estimates within 48 hours of notification; begin work within 24 hours after notice to proceed; and respond to emergency requests within two hours. Services will be performed at authorized District locations and may include electrical parts and supplies sourced through economical, preferably local, vendors. The initial performance period is December 1, 2026, or upon award, through November 30, 2027, with two possible 12-month extensions subject to unchanged pricing and available funds. The proposal requires an hourly rate for one journeyman and one apprentice, along with specified certifications, insurance documentation, prevailing-wage compliance, and completed solicitation forms and certifications.
