Description
The Housing Authority of the City of Poplar Bluff is soliciting lump-sum bids from general contractors for modernization work at Hillcrest Apartments under capital funding program CFP MO 501-26. The scope includes removing the existing boiler, chiller, and pump system; installing a new split system and eleven PTAC units; replacing three exterior doors and frames; and performing related ancillary work. Bidders must submit the required bid documents, including the Bid Form, 5% Surety Bid Bond, Non-Collusive Affidavit, Qualification Form, Section 3 Forms, and HUD Form 5369-A. The selected contractor must provide combined performance and payment surety bonds equal to the contract amount, maintain $1 million combined single-limit general and vehicle liability insurance, and carry workers' compensation insurance as required by Missouri law. On-site workers must receive an OSHA-approved 10-hour construction safety and health program. Federal prevailing wage requirements and Section 3 obligations apply.
