Description
The City of Jonesboro is soliciting sealed bids for construction of pedestrian improvements along Marion Berry Parkway between Washington Avenue and Aggie Road. The work includes a shared-use path and sidewalk, embankment compaction, lane-width modifications, curb and gutter, bridge modifications, storm drainage, and street-lighting modifications. The project is subject to applicable labor, nondiscrimination, wage-rate, federal, and Build America, Buy America requirements. Bidders must submit a cashier’s or certified check or a bid bond equal to at least 5% of the total maximum bid price. The successful bidder must provide performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the contract price, and evidence of licensure before contract execution. Bids will be evaluated based on cost, financial responsibility, equipment, and past performance completing similar work.
