Description
This solicitation from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) seeks bids for a term contract to purchase and remove DEMIL A Mixed Metals Scrap from various Federal agencies within a 50-mile radius of Washington, DC. The contract will operate on a removal-based system, with the successful bidder receiving Removal Delivery Orders (RDOs) for specific service events. The scrap material includes steel, aluminum, copper/brass, wire, and other ferrous and non-ferrous materials, excluding electronic waste and data-bearing devices. All material is sold strictly for recycling purposes. The contract includes a one-year base period with two one-year option periods, and a potential six-month government extension option, for a maximum term of three years. Pricing is based on completed removal events, not material weight or market indices. Eligible participating agencies are listed, with the exception of Department of State, GSA, SSA, and DOT. The winning bidder must provide all labor, equipment, and transportation for removals and coordinate with Agency Government Representatives (AGRs). Bids must be submitted via email and include Appendix A and Standard Form 114.
