Description
The Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS) in Bremerton, Washington, requires on-site paper shredding services. This is a recurring service, scheduled for two times per week, to handle all paper waste destruction. The contract will provide personnel, equipment, supplies, and transportation necessary for on-site shredding. All shredded material must be reduced to 5/8 inch wide by 1 3/4 inch long or smaller, be unrecognizable, and be recycled through a Material Recovery Facility (MRF) or mill direct within the continental United States. The period of performance is anticipated to be one base year with four option years. Interested companies should submit a notice of interest including company capabilities and answers to a Request for Information (RFI). The government is conducting market research to determine the best procurement method, which may include a small business set-aside or unrestricted competition.
