Description
The U.S. Coast Guard is seeking a contractor to provide refuse and recycling collection and disposal services for its facilities at Detachment Sandy Hook, located in Highlands, NJ. This includes collection from facility, commercial, and community areas. The contract will be a firm-fixed-price agreement. The period of performance is a one-year base period with four one-year option periods, from February 1, 2026, to January 31, 2031. Services are to be performed between 0800 and 1400, with potential for work outside these hours, including weekends and holidays, with advance notice. The contractor will be responsible for providing all containers, transportation, and disposal of refuse and recyclables, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local laws. Hazardous waste, explosives, or bio-hazard waste are not included in this contract. The contractor must also maintain a Quality Control Plan and adhere to all safety regulations.
