Description
NASA White Sands Test Facility (WSTF) is seeking bids for a term contract to manage the collection, removal, and recycling of DEMIL A mixed metals scrap. The estimated annual quantity is approximately 130 tons of iron and steel scrap, which may include ferrous and nonferrous attachments. This is an Invitation for Bid (IFB) with the number 3-1-QSC-T-26-021. Key requirements include a mandatory pre-bid site inspection, submission of Appendix A and Standard Form 114 (SF 114) with the bid, a performance guarantee of $6,000.00, and pricing based on a percentage of a published market index. Insurance documentation is required prior to performance. Bids must acknowledge all amendments, and failure to comply with solicitation requirements may result in disqualification. Due to the secured nature of the NASA White Sands Test Facility, advance coordination is required for site access, which may involve badging and security screening. Site inspection scheduling must be coordinated with the designated Government representatives.
