Description
Beaufort County seeks a qualified design professional or team to develop an updated master plan and Phase 1 improvements for the 12.5-acre MC Riley Sports Complex. The scope includes redesigning three baseball fields; designing at least six pickleball courts, a playground, walking trails, sidewalks, parking, seating, and support facilities; and planning a centrally located press box or building with restrooms, concessions, meeting or office space, plus a maintenance building. Services include site assessment; tree, topographic, boundary, utility, and land surveys; geotechnical and environmental or wetland evaluations; grading, drainage, stormwater, utility, accessibility, permitting, architectural, civil, and landscape design; phased planning; construction cost estimates; value engineering; conceptual alternatives; 3D renderings; and related reports and plan documents. The qualification submission is limited to 15 double-sided printed pages, excluding cover pages, and must address the firm's qualifications, approach, work plan, scheduling, experience, team structure, and exceptions.
