Description
Beaufort County is soliciting a contractor to restore the hybrid tennis/pickleball court at Shell Point Park. The work includes milling and removing the existing surface, excavating and treating root intrusion, repairing cracks and depressions, repaving the court, applying a multi-layer acrylic sports surfacing system, and installing regulation tennis and pickleball line striping and court accessories. The contractor must remove and replace existing net systems, provide new tennis and pickleball nets and posts, remove the existing 12-foot fence and gates, and install a new black vinyl-coated chain-link fence with three lockable gates. The scope also includes site safety, access and storage coordination, final inspection, punch-list corrections, and delivery of a final project report, warranties, and maintenance recommendations. Work must be completed within 180 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed, with liquidated damages of $400 per calendar day for late completion.
