Description
NASA Kennedy Space Center seeks a fully fabricated, ready-to-connect compressed-air system to generate clean, dry air for the Environmental Control System at LC-39B. The turnkey system must provide at least 55 lbm/min of air at a minimum of 70 psig, meet ISO 8573-1:2010 [3:3:0] purity with zero oil concentration, and support continuous operation for at least 18 hours per day. The scope includes N+1 redundant compressors, desiccant dryers, filters, controls, power transformers, remote monitoring and control, carbon-monoxide monitoring, weather-rated and launch-environment-resistant enclosure, air receivers, transportation, on-site activation, up to four hours of training, technical documentation, and a one-year parts-and-labor warranty. The system must accommodate coastal conditions, 168-mph wind loads, launch-induced vibration and pressure loads, and applicable pressure-vessel, electrical, coating, and safety standards. Desired delivery is February 28, 2027, with extended performance periods considered.
