Description
The Public Utilities Commission of Nevada (PUC) is reviewing an application filed by Sierra Pacific Power Company d/b/a NV Energy (NV Energy) for approval of a Large Load Electric Service Agreement with Amazon Data Services, Inc. The application, designated as Docket No. 26-05026, was filed on May 27, 2026. NV Energy has requested that portions of the application be treated as confidential. A prehearing conference has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. The conference will be held in Hearing Room A at the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada, located at 1150 East William Street in Carson City, Nevada, and will also be accessible via videoconference to Hearing Room A at 9075 West Diablo Drive, Suite 250, Las Vegas, Nevada. The conference will also be available via Microsoft Teams and a live stream link on the PUC's website (https://puc.nv.gov). Interested parties may file comments or petitions for leave to intervene electronically through the Commission's Electronic Filing System or at either of the Commission's offices by Wednesday, July 1, 2026. The purpose of the prehearing conference is to define the issues and establish a procedural schedule for the proceeding. The application is publicly available on the PUC's website and at their offices in Carson City and Las Vegas.
