Description
This solicitation is for the complete sludge removal from the LAS holding pond. The scope of work includes dredging and degrading the sludge, disposal, dewatering, grit removal, and all other necessary tasks to complete the project according to specifications and construction drawings. The project is expected to be awarded as a single contract and must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days. Bidders must possess a valid "Utility Contractor" license from the State of Georgia and employ a certified "Utility Manager" to oversee the work. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or cashier's check of at least 10% of the base bid. Performance and Payment Bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, will be required of the successful bidder. The project is funded in part by the American Rescue Plan Act Funds.
