Description
The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids for janitorial services at their Hollister-Gilroy locations. This contract will initially be for a term of twelve (12) months, with one (1) one-year option to extend. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all transportation, personnel, labor, equipment (including brooms, buffers, and mops), operating expenses, travel costs, fingerprint-based state and federal criminal records check fees/costs, annual inflation cost/rate adjustments, profit margin, and all other equipment required to perform the work as described in the scope of work. The bid form requires bidders to provide their hourly rate for janitorial services and a blended benefit rate, with a minimum janitorial rate of $16.31 per hour. Bidders will also need to provide administrative overhead/indirect costs. Bidding preferences for Certified Small Business or Micro Business, Non-Small Business Subcontractor, and Certified DVBE or DVBE Incentive are available.
