Description
The Florida Department of Juvenile Justice is soliciting bids for janitorial services at the Collier County Detention Center, located at 3351 E Tamiami Trail, Naples, FL 34112. The facility to be serviced is 26,482 square feet. The contract will be for a period of three (3) years, starting August 1, 2026, through July 30, 2028. Services are to be provided three days a week, preferably Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, for fifty-two weeks a year, excluding state holidays. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, equipment, supplies, and materials necessary for satisfactory performance, including but not limited to toilet paper, hand towels, cleaning solutions, mops, brooms, vacuums, and trash can liners. Key tasks include cleaning and disinfecting offices, suites, and restrooms, as well as vacuuming carpets, buffing floors, and deep cleaning restrooms and shower areas. The contractor must submit a monthly invoice with supporting documentation for reimbursement within ten working days following the end of the month for which services were rendered. The contract will be awarded to the responsive bidder offering the lowest overall cost on an "all or none" basis.
