Description
The City of Pasadena is seeking a qualified California-licensed residential property appraiser or appraisal firm to support the acquisition and subsequent disposition of approximately six vacant single-family or duplex properties. The work includes on-site inspections in Pasadena, preparation of as-is fair-market-value appraisals, and delivery of a Universal Residential Appraisal Report for each property to support listing-price evaluation and seller disclosures. Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of property-valuation experience, prior experience valuing single-family properties in Pasadena, knowledge of the local real estate market, and the ability to provide licensed-appraiser resumes, licenses and certifications, professional references, sample reports, hourly rates for work outside the original scope, and a per-property price proposal. The solicitation identifies two sample valuation properties at 1199 Pasadena Avenue and 737 Pasadena Avenue. The initial contract term is three years, with two optional one-year extensions.
