The Indiana Department of Natural Resources is soliciting a two-year contract for full maintenance of the elevator at Clifty Falls State Park. The scope includes monthly scheduled service visits; systematic inspection, cleaning, lubrication, adjustment, repair, and replacement of covered components; an initial site inspection and written equipment assessment; maintenance documentation; and service reports after each visit. The contractor must perform applicable annual, five-year load, monthly fire-service, and in-car communication safety tests in accordance with ANSI A17.1 and current state and local codes. Emergency services may be requested outside scheduled visits, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with a required telephone response within 30 minutes. The bid is estimated at less than $150,000, requires the contractor to perform at least 15% of the work with its own forces, and requires submission of the completed state bid form and related bid documents.
