Description
The City seeks a contractor to remove and dispose of designated existing fencing and install approximately 1,543 linear feet of new six-foot-high, black vinyl-coated chain-link fencing. The work includes perimeter and office/building security fencing, new swing gates, and barbed-wire extensions on the office/building fence only. The contractor must also furnish and install a complete automatic gate system, including a commercial gate operator, remote controls, vehicle-detection loop, safety and entrapment-protection devices, and all required electrical service, wiring, trenching, and restoration. The lump-sum bid must cover the complete installation, permits and inspections coordination, testing, training, warranties, and site cleanup. Bidders must identify proposed materials and equipment, warranty information, anticipated lead times, project schedule, and any exceptions. Substantial completion is required within 60 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
