Description
The City seeks a progressive design-build team to deliver integrated design, permitting, preconstruction, procurement, construction, startup, commissioning, and closeout for a wastewater collection system. The scope includes a submersible pump station with backup power, gravity sewer and manholes, an aerial sewer crossing, force main, jack-and-bore work, erosion and sedimentation controls, grading and restoration, utility coordination, roadway and right-of-way work, and testing. The selected team must reconcile existing permits, drawings, specifications, surveys, geotechnical information, prior procurement documents, and field conditions, and prepare any required permit applications or modifications. The project includes a $1,970,000 North Carolina Division of Water Infrastructure State Reserve Grant. The design-builder must preserve funding eligibility and comply with applicable grant requirements, procurement documentation, reimbursement requirements, regulatory approvals, and closeout requirements.
