Description
Cook Inlet Housing Authority seeks one or more contractors with residential development experience to provide foundation and concrete work for single-family, duplex, and multifamily homes. Work includes forming and finishing strip and step footings; installing reinforced, mortared, and grouted concrete masonry foundation walls and cold footings; and constructing interior and exterior concrete slabs, sidewalks, and steps. Related work includes drainage grading, reinforcement placement, floor-drain receptors, control and expansion joints, and specified finishing. Excavation and soil compaction, waterproofing, temporary heating, and certain other listed items are excluded or provided by others. This is an indefinite-quantity term-services contract with unit pricing for foundations, concrete flatwork, and miscellaneous services. Contractors will submit a written work plan and fee proposal for each requested task, based on the contract unit prices. The initial term is two years, with up to three one-year extensions. The proposal must include qualifications and experience, three similar-client references, staff and equipment information, the proposal price form, and applicable certifications and federal forms.
