Description
The City of Winston-Salem is soliciting sealed proposals for Phase 1 replacement and installation of washer/dryer units at several fire stations, along with the purchase and installation of new Gear Wash/Extractor units. The work includes interior renovations, interior concrete work for floors and appliance pads, plumbing, and electrical work. The City may select any combination of bid locations within the available project budget. A Phase 2 contract may be awarded in 2027 to the original low bidder for remaining locations, with an inflationary increase on labor and adjustment for material-cost differences. Bidders must be properly licensed under North Carolina law, and the awarded contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. Attendance at the virtual pre-bid conference is mandatory.
