Description
Vermillion County is accepting bids from properly licensed and insured contractors for residential rehabilitation projects under its Owner-Occupied Rehabilitation Program. Work will serve income-qualified homeowners throughout the county, with projects bid individually. Eligible improvements may include radon mitigation, HVAC work, water heater replacement, roof repair or replacement, and accessibility improvements. Each home may receive up to $25,000 in rehabilitation assistance, and the first group of homes is available for bidding. Contractors must register to be placed on the program’s official bidder list, which will be used to notify contractors of upcoming bidding opportunities. Work is subject to Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 and Executive Order 11246, as amended. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Vermillion County OOR Group 1”; electronic submissions may be accepted only with prior approval and in accordance with the bid packet instructions.
