Description
The Town of Seelyville is soliciting sealed bids for four divisions of water system improvement work. Division A includes replacement of filter media in four horizontal pressure filters, installation of a gas chlorine scrubber system and concrete pad, associated piping and appurtenances, and related erosion control, restoration, electrical, and controls work. Division B covers rehabilitation of two existing 500,000-gallon glass-lined, bolted steel ground storage tanks, including temporary storage, piping, erosion control, and restoration. Division C includes approximately 22,000 feet of six-inch water main along U.S. 40 and within the Lincolnshire and Woodridge subdivisions, along with valves, fire hydrant assemblies, water service lines, traffic maintenance, erosion control, and restoration. Division D includes relocation of approximately 60 water service lines from an existing four-inch main to an existing 12-inch main. Bidders must submit the required bid forms and Indiana Form 96 information, including a financial statement, a written employee drug-testing program, and a bid security of at least five percent of the highest aggregate bid. The successful contractor must provide 100% performance and payment bonds. Contractors and subcontractors awarded work exceeding $300,000 must be prequalified by the Indiana Department of Administration.
