Description
The Port Arthur Economic Development Corporation seeks a contractor to provide recurring landscape and irrigation maintenance for the Spur 93 and Jade Avenue Business Park. The scope includes mowing, edging, trimming, shrub and tree maintenance, ground-cover and plant replacement, weed removal, mulch installation, litter and debris removal, sidewalk cleanup, and maintenance of entrance roads and approaches. The contractor must inspect the irrigation system every three months, perform more extensive flushing and valve inspections every six months, repair or replace sprinkler components with original parts, and provide written inspection reports. The scope also includes fertilizer, insecticide, and herbicide applications with usage reports. Proposers must be licensed irrigators and hold a State of Texas Pesticide Applicator License; subcontractors are not permitted. The contract is for one year with two additional one-year renewal options. Proposals must address experience, three similar-service references, pricing, and project approach, and must include the specified licenses, affidavits, certifications, and completed proposal forms.
