Description
The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is soliciting a lump-sum proposal to upgrade the avionics on a Cessna T206H aircraft. The work includes upgrading the existing Garmin G1000 to the latest G1000 NXi configuration with integrated GFC 700 autopilot and Flight Stream 510 Wi-Fi; enabling Synthetic Vision, Search and Rescue, and Aux Video functions; installing a Garmin GI 275 ADAHRS, Garmin GSB 15 USB data loader, and Macro-Blue MB07W-XX2X4XXX0 seven-inch display; removing specified standby instruments, the existing Airborne Displays screen, and the vacuum system; and returning removed equipment to the agency. The selected proposer must be a Garmin authorized dealer, hold an appropriate FAA Part 145 repair station certificate and rating, and confirm ownership or licensing of all required STCs. The proposer must address compatibility between the existing MX10 camera/ShotOver system and the G1000 NXi, identify any required converter hardware or FAA Form 337 approval, complete FAA airworthiness paperwork, update logbooks and the POH supplement, perform a new weight-and-balance calculation and specified 24-month inspections, and conduct an acceptance flight with an agency pilot. Installation must be completed within 31 calendar days after aircraft delivery and confirmation that required parts are available. The proposal must include the required affidavit and be submitted in the prescribed paper and electronic formats.
