Description
UW Medicine seeks to establish a pool of qualified vendors to provide as-needed window repair and replacement services at Harborview Medical Center and University of Washington Medical Center campuses and associated clinics. The scope includes glass and glazing work for interior and exterior applications in healthcare and office buildings, including windows, skylights, skybridges, storefronts, display cases, and glass enclosures. Vendors must provide glass and window components, installation, tinting, sealing, caulking, and 24-hour emergency board-up services, with 24/7 emergency availability and a response call within 30 minutes. Proposers must demonstrate at least three years of healthcare-setting experience and provide onsite supervision and trained personnel. The work includes service reporting and timestamped before-and-after photographs. Pricing is requested for standard, overtime, and holiday labor, plus a materials and supplies markup. The solicitation establishes an initial two-year term with three two-year extension options and one one-year extension option, for a maximum nine-year term; purchase orders will be issued as needed, with no guaranteed volume.
