Description
The City seeks two qualified firms for on-call structural and seismic/disaster engineering services supporting its facility projects. Work may include structural assessments and studies, monitoring, confidence testing, calculations, seismic evaluations, fall-protection design and review, options analysis, recommendations, and rough-order-of-magnitude cost estimates. Consultants may also prepare engineer-stamped construction documents, conduct plan reviews and permitting, and provide construction administration and inspections for structural elements of new and existing facilities, including expert-witness services when required. Services will be assigned as needed through individual Letters of Authorization; the City does not guarantee a minimum amount of work. Respondents must demonstrate Washington State and City of Seattle engineering licensure and registration, current-code compliance experience, and three relevant projects from the past seven years. The response includes a Statement of Qualifications, a response addressing the minimum qualifications, a Consultant Inclusion Plan, and a Consultant Questionnaire. The Statement of Qualifications is limited to 10 pages, excluding the cover page, resumes, and required forms, and must follow the stated formatting requirements.
