Description
Walton County seeks a contractor to completely demolish or relocate an existing three-story single-family residence. The scope includes labor, equipment, materials, transportation, permits, utility disconnections or safe termination, removal of the structure and foundations where authorized, debris disposal, erosion control, protection of adjacent properties and coastal features, and final site cleanup and restoration. Salvage rights are retained by the contractor, and anticipated salvage value must be reflected in the quote. The contractor must address coastal permitting and environmental requirements, obtain a pre-demolition asbestos survey from a Florida-licensed asbestos consultant, submit required demolition notifications, and perform any necessary asbestos abatement through properly licensed parties. The work must be completed within 30 calendar days after purchase-order issuance, subject to required approvals and notification periods. The solicitation requests an electronic response through the OpenGov Procurement portal, including a non-cost response, required questionnaire answers, lead time, quote validity, and two references for similar work; pricing is submitted as a separate lump-sum line item.
