Description
This Sources Sought announcement seeks written capability information from potential prime contractors for a future design-bid-build project involving construction of a new three-story student housing facility and demolition of Buildings 601, 602, and 623. The planned dormitory will contain approximately 150,000 square feet, 280 double-occupancy units, and capacity for up to 560 residents. Site development must address flood hazards, cultural significance, and the continued operation of mechanical space serving an existing chilled-water piping network. The project is expected to comply with the 2024 International Building Code, NFPA 101, Unified Facility Criteria, and installation appearance requirements. The anticipated performance period is 1,200 calendar days, and the estimated construction magnitude is $100 million to $150 million. Respondents must submit a capability statement of no more than six pages addressing company information, business status, bonding capacity, SAM registration, relevant contract vehicles, and three to five comparable prime-contractor projects completed within the preceding seven years.
