Description
Escambia County is requesting a contractor to rehabilitate an owner-occupied single-family residence. The required scope includes replacing and tying the septic system into the county sewer, electrical rewiring and related code upgrades, installation of a new HVAC system and ductwork repairs, and plumbing fixture replacements. Work must comply with applicable Florida, Escambia County, and program requirements, including required permits, inspections, restoration of disturbed areas, and professional workmanship. An optional exterior-repairs line item includes fascia, soffit, exterior wood repairs, pressure washing, caulking, painting, and related data-cable work. The contractor must provide labor, materials, equipment, overhead, permits, insurance, and profit in the itemized pricing. Bidders must submit the completed and signed scope cover sheet and numbered scope pages, itemized pricing, and required supporting documentation through the OpenGov portal. The project has a 60-day completion limit; performance and payment bonds are required for jobs valued at $25,000 or more before notice to proceed.
