Description
The Wyoming Department of Corrections, through the Wyoming Women's Center (WWC) in Lusk, Wyoming, is soliciting bids for annual inspection and maintenance services for various boilers, plate heat exchangers, and packaged rooftop units. The services are to be performed by certified and/or licensed technicians. The scope of work includes detailed inspections and maintenance tasks such as cleaning boilers and flues, testing safety controls, inspecting and cleaning burner assemblies, inspecting and cleaning condensate systems, testing combustion air, inspecting and cleaning vents and chimneys, testing electrical supply and gas supply, and recording various operational parameters. A combustion analyzer will be used to test and adjust the combustion process according to manufacturer specifications, with timestamped reports to be provided for each boiler. General requirements include the contractor possessing all necessary certifications and tools, providing original or approved aftermarket replacement parts to maintain warranties, supplying updated operations and maintenance manuals, and providing all applicable warranties for parts and labor. Awarded bidders will be subject to background checks and must provide proper insurance coverage. The contract duration options are for one, two, or three years, with the possibility of extending for two additional years. Emergency call-out services for repairs are also to be quoted.
