Description
The City of Modesto Utilities Department is establishing an on-call list of up to three geotechnical engineering firms to support future Capital Improvement Program and other public infrastructure projects. Services will be provided on an as-needed, task-order basis and may include subsurface investigations, soil and materials testing, geotechnical studies and reports, design recommendations, pavement and foundation evaluations, utility and pipeline support, construction observation and testing, seismic and geologic hazard evaluations, peer review, potholing, sludge-depth surveys, groundwater and slope monitoring, emergency response, and related specialty services. Selected firms must demonstrate relevant experience, qualifications, resources, capacity, and responsiveness. Services must be performed under the responsible charge of appropriately licensed California professional engineers. Agreements are expected not to exceed $100,000 per year per consultant, with a maximum not-to-exceed amount of $300,000 per consultant agreement over the initial three-year term.
