Description
The project involves improvements to an existing wastewater pump station, including demolition of existing chemical storage tanks, unloading stations, pumps, and associated piping and equipment. The contractor will install a new chemical storage tank and feed system, submersible pumps, valves, gates, piping, and related mechanical equipment; expand the electrical room; replace major electrical equipment; and upgrade instrumentation, controls, and building mechanical systems. The work also includes architectural improvements and replacement of Manhole SSMH-2350 and modifications to Manhole SSMH-2360. The bid includes a base scope and an alternative for basin-floor pressure-relief valves. Bidders must submit a bid form, bid security, an equipment questionnaire, and a proposed subcontractors form. The bid bond must be at least 5% of the bid amount. The contract documents specify substantial completion by March 31, 2028, and final completion by April 30, 2028.
