Description
This public construction opportunity covers general trades for renovation of a 3,250-square-foot child-services visitation center. The scope includes selective demolition; masonry restoration; new and modified walls, doors, windows, finishes, signage, toilet accessories, casework, shelving, and accessibility improvements; concrete sidewalks and ramps; playground modifications; roofing, gutters, soffits, and an entry portico alternate; and related site restoration. The work also includes plumbing fixture and sanitary-system replacement, domestic-water modifications, HVAC and heat-pump work, electrical-service replacement, new panelboards, lighting, receptacles, fire-alarm coordination, and communications/access-control relocations. Required hazardous-materials work includes removal and disposal of identified or assumed asbestos-containing flooring mastic, door-frame and exterior masonry caulks, ceiling-tile mastic, flue insulation and sealants, fire-rated door components, and boiler components. Ohio prevailing-wage requirements apply, and the estimated base-bid construction cost is $1,100,000.
