Description
Leslie County School District is soliciting proposals for five 10 Gbps standalone data transmission circuits connecting Leslie County High School to Hayes Lewis Elementary, Mountain View Elementary, Stinnett Elementary, WB Muncy Elementary, and the Leslie County Bus Garage. The network will use Leslie County High School as its central point, with termination and hand-off in each building's main server room. Installation and initial configuration are required, and one-time installation costs must be amortized into the monthly pricing. The circuits must support multiple data services, including computer networks, voice over IP, and digital video, with a 99% uptime guarantee measured continuously over each seven-day period. Providers must begin repairs within four hours of a communication outage, unless otherwise agreed in the final contract, and must provide a valid Service Provider Identification Number with their response. Pricing must be provided on a per-connection basis. The district states an intended five-year contract with a possible additional five-year extension, subject to agreeable terms, E-Rate funding approval, and service commencement on July 1, 2027. Responses must comply with applicable Kentucky KETS technical, product, and design standards.
