Description
Hudson River Park Trust is seeking one or more experienced consultants to provide comprehensive, phased construction management services for construction activities at the Pier 97 Esplanade within Hudson River Park and the adjacent New York State Department of Transportation Route 9A Bikeway. The scope includes constructability reviews, identification of contract-document deficiencies, cost estimating, value-engineering strategies, and assistance with construction procurement. During construction, the consultant will plan, oversee, monitor, direct, and supervise construction activities and schedule field inspections as directed by the Trust. The consultant will not perform direct construction work. The anticipated contract term is three years. The project is partially funded through a federal Transportation Alternatives Program grant administered by the New York State Department of Transportation. There are no subcontracting goals; New York State-certified MWBEs and SDVOBs are encouraged to apply as prime consultants.
